On September 29, we officially launched Contáblika, a platform developed by EtyaLab to help accounting professionals better organize their client management, reduce manual tasks, and leverage technology to work more efficiently.
The event took place at the Las Américas Golden Tower Hotel in Panama City and brought together more than 35 accountants and industry professionals, who attended a breakfast designed not only to introduce the platform but also to discuss the changes the accounting profession is undergoing in the face of digitization, automation, and advances in artificial intelligence.

Technology is changing the way companies manage their information, communicate with their clients, and make decisions. The accounting profession is no exception.
A significant portion of accountants’ daily work continues to rely on manual processes: requesting documents from clients, following up on pending information, reviewing important dates, organizing files, sending reminders, and maintaining multiple conversations across different channels.
These activities are necessary, but they can also consume a considerable amount of time that could be devoted to higher-value tasks, such as financial analysis, planning, and advising clients.
We discussed this very topic during the presentation “Accounting and Automation: Challenges and Opportunities in the Age of AI,” highlighting how technology should become a tool that complements the knowledge and experience of accounting professionals.
The goal is not to replace accountants, but to provide them with better tools so they can increasingly focus on analyzing, advising, and making better decisions alongside their clients.

During the event, we presented Contáblika in action, demonstrating how the platform aims to centralize in one place the various activities that are part of an accountant’s day-to-day work.
Contáblika allows you to organize client information and documentation, keep better track of pending tasks, and streamline the management of reminders and recurring processes.
The idea behind the platform stems from a very simple need: to give accountants a clearer view of what’s happening with all their clients without having to rely on multiple spreadsheets, conversations, emails, or individual reminders.
One of the most valuable aspects of the event was the opportunity to speak directly with the professionals in attendance.
In addition to presenting Contáblika’s current features, we were able to learn firsthand about some of the main challenges accountants face in their day-to-day work, hear their questions, and receive recommendations on new features that could be added to the platform.
This feedback is especially important to us.
At EtyaLab, we want Contáblika to continue evolving based on the real needs of accounting professionals, incorporating technology and automation where it can truly make an impact on their productivity.
Every comment we received during the event helps us continue to improve the platform and define the next features we’ll be developing.
We are very grateful to the more than 35 professionals who participated in this first meeting, shared their experiences, and provided us with their feedback.
We also appreciate the support of SENACYT and the Panama Innova program, which have supported this project and helped promote innovation and technology initiatives developed in Panama.
The launch of Contáblika represents an important step, but also the beginning of a new phase.
We will continue to work on new features, listen to our users, and develop tools that make accounting management increasingly simple, organized, and smart.
If you’re an accountant, manage multiple clients, and want to reduce the time you spend manually tracking information, we invite you to check out the platform.
